A floating wave power plant receives energy from sea waves periodically. Increasing the efficiency of converting wave energy into mechanical energy is possible by controlling the flow of water through a hydraulic turbine. The article concerns the issues of ensuring synchronization of the floating wave power plant unit operation with a regular wave process. A design for a wave receiver in the form of a spoiler trap with several chambers that reduce the intensity of the reflected wave is proposed. Dependencies are given for finding the total energy of the fluid flow in the propeller hydraulic turbinewater conduit. A method has been proposed for determining the mass of water entering the spoiler trap. The need to ensure synchronization of the water pipeline's capacity with regular wave processes is shown. Synchronization methods are discussed, and an actuator is proposed in the form of a controlled pneumatic drive for a petal damper at the outlet of the water pipeline. A relay algorithm for controlling the synchronization system is proposed, and the results of its simulation study are presented.
