Report on the paper 'Generalized *-Z-Solitons on LPK manifolds' by M.Jafari et al. The paper under review considers Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifolds and introduces a rather involved condition on the structure of such a manifold, under which the manifold is referred to as an almost gradient generalized *-Z-soliton (*-AGZS). The authors prove that this condition imply that the manifold is then a generalized eta-Einstein manifold, and, under certain additional conditions, even an eta-Einstein or just Einstein one. This might be interesting if useful examples or some ways to construct *-AGZSs are provided. However, the paper contains only a single example which is rather trivial and not even complete as functions alpha and beta in it are not specified. So, in the present form, the construction does not sound quite motivated, and its importance remains unclear. With all that said, I do not recommend this paper for publication.
